What types of photos work best?
Photos with a clear subject work best — pets, people, buildings, flowers, vehicles. The AI simplifies complex backgrounds into clean outlines.
Do I need an account?
No account needed! You get 2 free coloring pages every day without signing up. Create a free account to unlock 10 pages per month, plus access to your gallery and the PDF Book Builder.
Are free pages watermarked?
Yes — both anonymous daily tries (2/day) and free-tier pages (10/month) include a small DoodleSnap watermark. Upgrade to Starter or Pro to remove watermarks and unlock more pages.
How is this different from a basic filter?
Unlike basic filters, DoodleSnap uses creative AI to understand your photo and create clean, child-friendly coloring page outlines — just like a professional coloring book.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, cancel anytime. You'll keep access to your current tier until the end of your billing period, then you'll return to the free plan. Web subscriptions include a 14-day refund window on the first charge, subject to a usage cap — see our Refund Policy. iOS App Store purchases are governed by Apple's refund policy.
Is my data safe?
Your photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. To generate your coloring pages we send images to trusted AI providers (including Google Gemini and OpenAI via OpenRouter) — see our Privacy Policy for the full list. We do not sell your data or use your images for any purpose other than creating your coloring page.
Can I print the coloring pages?
Yes! Every coloring page is designed for printing. Use the Print button to print directly or download as a high-quality PNG.
What art styles are available?
DoodleSnap offers 5 art styles: Classic, Cartoon, Manga, Realistic, and Simple. Free accounts have access to 2 styles; Starter and Pro unlock all 5.
What is the PDF Book Builder?
The PDF Book Builder lets you compile multiple coloring pages into a single printable PDF. Free accounts can build books up to 8 pages, Starter allows 25, and Pro allows up to 75 pages per book.
What is Text-to-Coloring?
Text-to-Coloring lets you describe a scene in words and DoodleSnap generates a coloring page from your description — no photo needed. Great for imaginary scenes, storybook characters, or custom themes.
Is there an annual billing option?
Yes! Annual billing is available for both Starter and Pro plans at a discount. You can switch to annual billing from the pricing page.
What are the generation limits per plan?
Free: 10 pages/month. Starter ($4.99/mo): 50 pages/month. Pro ($12.99/mo): 150 pages/month. Anonymous users (no account) get 2 free pages per day.
