Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. 14-Day Refund Window
All paid DoodleSnap subscriptions purchased through doodlesnap.app (Starter and Pro, monthly or annual) include a 14-day refund window from the date of your first paid charge on that subscription.
The refund window applies only to the first paid charge of a subscription. Subsequent monthly or annual renewals are not refundable under this policy. Please cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to be charged again.
2. Usage Cap
A refund is available only if you have used 5 or fewer paid-tier generations within the 14-day window. Above this threshold we consider the subscription substantially consumed and will not issue a refund.
The cap applies regardless of subscription length — an annual subscriber who exceeds 5 generations within the first 14 days is no longer eligible.
3. How to Cancel
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Click Manage Billing to open your Dodo Payments customer portal, or use the Cancel Subscription button directly.
When you cancel, you keep access to your paid tier until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier — no further charges, and your generated pages stay in your gallery.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email support@doodlesnap.app with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email on your DoodleSnap account
- The date of the charge you'd like refunded
- A brief reason (optional, but helps us improve)
We aim to respond within one business day and issue approved refunds within five business days. Refunds are returned via the original payment method through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record.
5. After the Refund Window or Above the Usage Cap
Charges outside the 14-day window, or where usage exceeds the cap above, are non-refundable. We handle exceptions for service outages, billing errors, and duplicate charges on a case-by-case basis — just write in and we'll look at it.
6. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are covered by the same 14-day window and 5-generation cap. After either threshold is crossed, annual charges are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent the next annual renewal and keep using your paid tier through the end of the current year.
7. Apple App Store / In-App Purchases (iOS)
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store on iOS are governed by Apple's refund policy, not DoodleSnap's. We cannot issue or deny refunds for App Store purchases. To request a refund for an iOS subscription, visit reportaproblem.apple.com within Apple's refund window. Apple decides at its sole discretion whether to grant the refund.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies only to subscriptions purchased through doodlesnap.app (processed by Dodo Payments).
8. Anti-Abuse
We reserve the right to deny any refund request where we identify fraud, chargeback abuse, or use patterns inconsistent with a good-faith trial of the Service. Examples include — but are not limited to — repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles across multiple accounts, refund requests made after substantial use, or evidence of attempts to circumvent usage limits.
9. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. Where local law gives you a longer or stronger right of withdrawal — for example the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services — those rights apply.
10. One-Time Purchases and Credits
DoodleSnap currently does not sell one-time generation credits. If this changes, this policy will be updated before any such purchases are offered.
11. Payment Processing
Web payments and refunds are processed by Dodo Payments, who acts as our Merchant of Record. iOS in-app payments are processed by Apple. Dodo's and Apple's own terms may apply in addition to these. See your payment receipt for the relevant transaction reference.
